WGU Holds 2011 Winter Commencement Ceremony

Western Governors University awarded 1,922 master’s and bachelor’s degrees on February 12 during its winter commencement ceremony. The event, the 20th for WGU, recognized students who have completed their online degrees since July of last year.

Sweepstakes Helps WGU Reach 6,000 Facebook Fans!

In December, WGU launched the Facebook “Like” Sweepstakes, which included a drawing for a Kindle reader. This week, WGU’s Facebook page counts more than 6,000 fans. Jessica Crawford from Warren, Pennsylvania! Jessica, a student in WGU’s Teachers College and one of our new Facebook fans, was selected in a random drawing and will receive a Kindle reader.
