This week, Seth Otteson of Riverton, Utah, became the second winner in our Facebook “Like” sweepstakes. Seth, an undergrad in the WGU Teachers College, is a married father with five kids who enjoys the flexibility of seeking an online teaching degree at WGU – and who will walk away with an iPad 2 just for being one of our 8,000-plus Facebook fans.

In December, we launched our Facebook "Like" sweepstakes on the WGU Facebook page. The sweepstakes has not only boosted our Facebook community, but we’ve also been giving away a prize every time we reach a set goal. So far, we have given away a Kindle, but we have yet to give away an iPad and Mystery Prize (valued at over $1000).
In December, WGU launched the Facebook “Like” Sweepstakes, which included a drawing for a Kindle reader. This week, WGU’s Facebook page counts more than 6,000 fans. Jessica Crawford from Warren, Pennsylvania! Jessica, a student in WGU’s Teachers College and one of our new Facebook fans, was selected in a random drawing and will receive a Kindle reader.
