This week is a big week for the WGU community as we prepare to launch WGU Washington on Thursday – and the week kicked off first thing Monday morning with news in the Seattle Times and the Puget Sound Business Journal announcing the leader who will take the reins as WGU Washington Chancellor: Jean Floten, current President of Bellevue College.

WA Governor Gregoire Signs Bill Creating WGU Washington

Today is another exciting day for WGU as we begin the launch of WGU Washington, our second state model. This afternoon, Governor Christine Gregoire signed the bill establishing a partnership between the state of Washington and Western Governors University to create WGU Washington.
