Choose a college
At WGU, each student is assigned a personal faculty member to work with them as a mentor throughout their time at WGU. Additionally, each course has its own course mentors, subject-matter experts who are available to help students get through course material. Advice from your mentors is invaluable as you make your way through your online degree program. But we also want you to benefit from the wisdom of mentors not necessarily assigned to you, so occasionally, The Night Owl features advice from WGU mentors in colleges throughout the university.
How many of us remember our parents telling us to wash our hands before we eat or our dentist telling us to brush our teeth after each meal?
Learning and practicing good habits will lead to successes in our personal and professional lives, and it only stands to reason that establishing good study habits as adult learners will lead us to success in our educational endeavors.
I want to share with you some of the study habits that I feel are important for your success at WGU.
Good habits can be the source of many successes in your educational journey. I encourage you to work with your WGU family to help establish habits that are going to lead you to your goal of graduation.
