Happy National Nurses Week!
We’re happy to join the rest of the nation in celebrating our country’s hard-working health professionals. Our College of Health Professions produces highly qualified, outstanding nurses, and we’re proud of the work our BSN and MSN students and graduates do for their patients.
The competency-based degree programs we offer emphasize students’ ability to prove what they know and what they are capable of doing. It’s an approach that creates graduates whose degree proves real-world competencies. This is critical for all our degree fields, but it’s especially meaningful for our nurses—wouldn’t you agree?
To celebrate National Nurses Week, we want to know what you think—and to thank you for sharing your thoughts, we’ll enter you to win WGU Nursing apparel or other merchandise from the WGU online store!
To enter, simply leave a comment in the comments section at the bottom of this post, answering the question, “Why is a degree that focuses on competency important for a career in nursing?”
Winners will be selected at random on Monday, May 13, 2013. You do not have to be enrolled in or graduated from a WGU Nursing program to enter.
This contest has ended. Winners will be notified by email. Congratulations to all the winners!
