The Summer Commencement for Western Governors University was held July 14, 2007, at Abravanel Hall in Salt Lake City, Utah. Our keynote speaker was U.S. Senator Mike Enzi (R-Wy.) He was awarded an Honorary Doctor of Humane Letters degree, recognizing his career accomplishments in education and healthcare. Degrees were conferred to 419 students from 44 states. More than 80 students from 28 states attended. Students and families who could not attend were able to watch the live video stream of the ceremony via the Internet.
