Welcome to 2021 Winter Virtual Commencement at WGU!

At WGU, the health and wellbeing of our graduates, students, faculty, and staff remain our top priority. We continue to monitor CDC guidelines on the COVID-19 pandemic. At this time, WGU has no confirmed plans for 2021 in-person commencements due to this fluid situation. When it is safe to return to in-person commencements, dates and locations of future in-person commencements will be shared on our website, social media, and via email to graduates.

Although we share in your disappointment of not being able to gather in-person, we will continue to offer virtual commencements as a way to celebrate and honor our graduates. Virtual commencements allow graduates to participate live or to celebrate at their convenience with friends and family at their own commencement watch party.

Please note, graduates who participate in a virtual commencement due to COVID-19 may still join us for an in-person commencement in the future.

To watch the virtual commencement visit this page or WGU’s official YouTube channel. You may also watch via WGU’s official Facebook page. Bookmark this page for easy navigation on commencement day.

You'll be able to view the live stream HERE on February 20th.
