Last week, we looked at the 13 biggest stories about WGU in the national media in 2012. But even beyond these big headlines, we were making news in lots of other ways, too.

The news, events, and milestones that matter most to you as students may or may not make the nightly news – but they top your list of 2012’s biggest happenings.

We asked our Facebook fans, Google+ circles, and Twitter followers to rank the top WGU happenings of the year. Each participant rated the significance of the event on a scale of 1–5 and we compiled the results.
