Jones & Bartlett is WGU's first e-text partner to offer the Print-on-Demand option for Vitalsource e-texts. What is Print-on-Demand? It's a way for students to purchase a hardcopy of their VitalSource e-text if they prefer that style of reading. The book is printed when the order is placed, then shipped. The cost of this hardcopy option will be reasonable, averaging around $30.00 depending on the book. The printing process takes about three days and shipping time depends on the method selected. In order to see if the Print-on-Demand option is available for a text on their VitalSource Bookshelf, users can navigate to their My Account icon, select the Print on Demand link, then Check Availability. As of May 2015, any e-text published by Jones & Bartlett that is used in a WGU course is available for Print-on-Demand.
