WGU Recognized in Major Publications

WGU was recently covered in both The Atlantic and Money Magazine! Good news for our Night Owls as the more WGU is recognized, the greater esteem your degree holds for employers.


Workforce Recruitment Program

The Workforce Recruitment Program (WRP) is a referral and recruitment program that assists students with disabilities through the process of seeking employment with the federal government. The WRP can help students find internships or permanent positions at federal agencies, explore careers in the federal service, and gain interviewing experience. Additional information on the WRP and applications are available on our website. Applications will be accepted until Friday, October 16, at 5:00 pm (EDT).


VitalSource Releases Update to Online Bookshelf

On September 29, VitalSource launched a new Digital Bookshelf.  Users will see a splash screen inviting them to upgrade to the new version after signing in. For a limited time, users will have the option to move to the new version or stay with the current version of the Digital Bookshelf.

Great features in the new Digital Bookshelf include:

  • More responsive design
  • More intuitive book navigation, customizable by each user
  • Improved access to notes and highlights, more intuitive searching, and more!

Users will have the option to switch between the new version and the classic version through October 12. On October 13 the new version will be officially launched for all users.
