Welcome to VITAL—Veterans Integration to Academic Leadership

In our effort to better serve our veteran and military connected students, WGU’s Military Support Department utilizes a peer mentoring program called VITAL—Veterans Integration to Academic Leadership—to provide students with direct resources and support. Your Senior Veteran Advisors can help connect you with the many resources available within WGU to assist you in your academic journey. Senior Veteran Advisors can also help you navigate the VA system to take advantage of other resources and benefits they offer that you may not be aware are available to you.

Senior Veteran Advisors serve as a liaison between the student, WGU, and Veterans Affairs, and assist in providing access to services and benefits available to student veterans.

To participate, please complete the form below, providing us with some additional information about your availability and preferences to meet with a Senior Veteran Advisor. Once this information is submitted and reviewed, you will receive an email from a peer to schedule your first appointment.
