They Said Earning a Healthcare Degree Would Be Expensive—It Doesn’t Have To Be

Choosing WGU for your healthcare degree means you can get to work faster. New students can begin their first term at the beginning of any month. That means you can start when you’re ready, rather than rushing (or waiting) for fall or spring enrollment. Plus, our healthcare programs are institutionally accredited, highly respected, and about half the cost of most other online degree programs.*

But that’s not all. Here’s how else WGU helps you save time and money:

  • Flat-rate tuition. One price covers as many courses as you can complete in a six-month term—you can potentially finish your program faster and earn your degree for even less.
  • Multiple scholarship opportunities. We award millions of dollars in need-based scholarships every year, including opportunities like our Back to School Scholarship that’s worth up to $2,500 toward any of our healthcare degree programs.

*WGU average annual bachelor’s tuition rates are 48% lower than the national average, compared to national rates reported by the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data Systems in 2022. WGU average rate does not include rates for WGU Bachelor of Science, Nursing Prelicensure program.

"Since graduating I have become a trauma nurse at the largest hospital in my state. I enjoy the challenges it presents every day, being able to make an impact in other's lives, and look forward to going to work all the time since I never know what the shift might bring."
