WESTERN GOVERNORS UNIVERSITY

Illinois State Fair Parade

Meet Us at the Fair!

We’re excited to invite you and your family to represent Western Governors University in the Illinois State Fair Parade on Thursday, August 7th in Springfield, IL!

Whether you’re currently earning your degree or proudly graduated, this is your moment to connect with the WGU community, show your spirit, and meet Sage, WGU’s beloved mascot.

Bonus: All participating students and alumni will receive exclusive WGU swag at the event!

Dress Code: To help us stand out as a unified group, we ask that all attendees wear a plain white t-shirt with nothing on it. This will make our group look cohesive in photos and at the parade.

The meet up details will be announced closer to the date once assigned by parade officials.
