Spend a summer evening connecting with the WGU alumni community against the backdrop of Chicago’s lakefront and skyline.

Date: Saturday, August 29, 2026
Dinner: 7:00 p.m. at Bar Sol, Navy Pier, 700 E. Grand Ave., Chicago, IL 60611
Boarding: 9:15 p.m. at City Cruises Seadog, Navy Pier, 600 E. Grand Ave., Chicago, IL 60611
Experience: Dinner followed by a Seadog cruise for the Navy Pier fireworks show
Capacity: Limited to 35 attendees
Eligibility: Attendees must be 18 or older. Plus one permitted.
The experience begins with dinner at Bar Sol at 7:00 p.m. Following dinner, attendees will proceed to the City Cruises Seadog boarding location and board at 9:15 p.m. for an evening cruise featuring views of the Navy Pier fireworks show.
Eligibility and Registration
All attendees must be 18 or older on the event date. Registration is required for every attendee. Participation includes both dinner and the cruise, and all registered attendees and their guests must attend both portions of the event.Availability is limited, so please register only if you are confident you can attend the full event.
