Join us on June 21st to celebrate five years of WGU Ohio at the Statehouse!

WGU Ohio was established in 2018 as a partnership between Western Governors University and the state of Ohio with a unique mission to help Ohioans obtain a quality education through online, competency-based programs that address key workforce needs. In its first year, WGU Ohio proudly enrolled 2,271 students. As of March 2023, we are thrilled to say we have grown to 4,936 enrolled students, with over 9,000 graduates total. This growth can be attributed to WGU Ohio’s many partnerships with corporations, school districts, healthcare facilities, associations, and many other institutions. By creating partnerships with organizations such as the Ohio Association of Community Colleges, Huntington Bank, KFC Foundation, Ohio Health, the East Central Province of Kappa Alpha Psi, the City of Dayton and more, WGU Ohio helps them create new opportunities for their employees.

Agenda

On the evening of June 21st, we will kick off the celebration at 5 P.M. at the Statehouse. This first hour will be dedicated to networking and enjoying light appetizers and drinks. At 6 P.M. we will begin our program comprised of esteemed speakers, videos, and awards & scholarships.
