WGU and NACHC have joined forces to establish the “Growing from Within” Initiative, which is:

• Designed as an educational collaborative to address nursing workforce shortages.
• Intended to meet the ongoing education and administrative leadership needs for CHCs’ future workforce development.

Partnership Benefits for NACHC-affiliated Employees and Center Directors

This partnership provides employees and directors of community health centers like you who affiliated with the NACHC with superior nursing and healthcare management degree programs that allow you to achieve your career goals and further your education without rearranging your life or compromising your current position.

As part of the partnership, if you are employed by an NACHC-affiliated community health center and are interested in an eligible degree program (see below), you are entitled to the following benefits:

• Application Fee Waiver ($65 savings). When you apply for admission, use “CHC1” as your affiliation code on the fee payment tab.
• 5% Tuition Discount. This discount, when added to the application fee waiver, amounts to $500 in total savings after 18 months (three terms of study).
• Eligibility to apply for the NACHC-WGU Community Health Scholarship >.This competitive scholarship, valued up to $2,000, can be used in addition to the 5 percent tuition discount.
