Linda Burnes-Bolton, Vice President of Nursing, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center

I am pleased to support WGU’s innovative nursing program. The collaborative partnership between nursing service and nursing education will provide an important addition to existing nursing programs.
The WGU BS Nursing (Prelicensure) program started with an idea about how to expand the offerings of nursing bachelor programs. I heard about WGU’s educational model in terms of the Teachers College and thought, if they can do it, why don’t we build a Prelicensure program for nurses? We are so proud of the program and its tremendous growth. To all of our recent graduates we say, “You should be congratulated for completing one of the most innovative programs in the United States.”
