In honor of National Nurses Week, and as a way of saying thanks for all the hard work nurses do, Western Governors University has established the WGU Loves Nurses Scholarship. National Nurses Week is celebrated annually from May 6th through May 12th culminating on Florence Nightingale's birthday. As part of the celebration, WGU will award multiple scholarships, each valued at up to $2,000, to motivated nurses who are ready to earn a bachelor’s or master’s degree in nursing or healthcare management. The priority deadline to apply for this scholarship is July 31, 2016.
WGU is offering a $65 application fee waiver to nurses applying to a bachelor’s or master’s degree program. Use code RN16 on the payment tab of your application to have your application fee waived.* Code expires July 31, 2016.
*Note: The application fee will not be refunded to those who have already completed the application.
We want to hear what you have to say follow WGU on Facebook now, and stay tuned during National Nurses Week for contests and conversations about nursing! #WGULovesNurses
