Diploma covers are distributed at no charge to graduates who participate in a commencement ceremony. If you cannot attend a ceremony, they are also available at the WGU Online Store.

WGU graduates receive a complimentary diploma upon completing their program. 11" x 8.5" copies are available for purchase through Paradigm.

Alumni Master's Scholarship
Scholarship Details
This is an exclusive scholarship available to WGU alums who are interested in pursuing a master's degree. For WGU grads who are considering pursuing another degree, now is the perfect time to apply and get started. Selected applicants will receive up to $2,500 toward their graduate degree.
Scholarship (valued up to):
$2,500
This scholarship will be credited to your account at the rate of $625 per six-month term, renewable up to four terms. Interested in this scholarship? The first step is to apply for admission.
Deadline (per 2025-26 aid year):
6/30/26
Before you can apply for this scholarship, you must first apply for admission. Already applied for admission? Apply for scholarships on the Scholarship Portal. This scholarship will be extended once the new aid year begins 7/1.

This scholarship is one of many. Through the generosity of donors and institutional funding, WGU maintains a robust program of scholarships made available to qualified students.
- For new students or returning graduates pursuing an eligible Master's degree program
Before monies are distributed, the scholarship recipients must read the WGU Student Handbook and agree to and understand the academic progress, tuition, and refund policies. The student will also be required to agree to the WGU Scholarship Terms and Conditions before monies will be awarded. The student must also meet the university’s On Time Progress requirements to maintain scholarship eligibility. Each student can only be awarded one scholarship that is funded or administered through WGU during their degree program. Recipients must be U.S. citizens or eligible noncitizens.
This scholarship can be used in addition to any tuition discounts for which you may be eligible.
