$2,500 NEW YEAR SCHOLARSHIP AVAILABLE
WGU’s New Year Scholarship can help make earning your healthcare degree even more affordable. Take the first step by applying for admission.

It’s Time to Give Your Career a Healthy Boost

It’s not just a new year. This is your year—your chance to launch a new career in healthcare or advance your current one. An affordable bachelor's or master's degree from WGU can help achieve your goal. WGU also offers millions in scholarships each year—including the $2,500 New Year Scholarship—to help make earning your degree even more affordable.

A healthcare degree from WGU is a smart investment in your future. Here’s why:

  • Monthly start dates. Degree programs begin the first of every month. So you can start when you’re ready, rather than waiting for a new semester to begin.
  • Personalized support. From day one, you’ll be matched with an experienced Program Mentor who will guide you through your degree program.
  • Flexibility. With 24/7 access to our online programs, you can complete coursework and take tests any time, day or night.
  • Flat-rate tuition. Your tuition is charged per six-month term, not per course, and includes as many courses as you can complete in that time. Federal financial aid is also available.

Get Started in Two Simple Steps

Step 1: Apply for Admission

To be considered for WGU scholarships, you must be provisionally accepted as a WGU student. Please complete the admissions application and work with your Enrollment Counselor to move through the admissions process.

NOTE: Returning WGU graduates should complete the Returning Graduate Application.

Step 2: Apply for Scholarships

To access the scholarship application, you will need your MyWGU student portal credentials, which will be sent to you after Step 1. You are eligible to apply for scholarships 90 days before and up to 30 days after your degree start date.

NOTE: Completing a current aid year FAFSA is highly recommended if eligible to do so.

“The enrollment process was seamless. I talked to a gentleman on the phone, and he told me what I would need. I sent my transcripts in. Within three days they were evaluated. It was a really good process.”
