WGU Indiana Alumni Master’s Scholarship Awarded
WGU Indiana Master of Arts Mathematics Education student Brendan Matthews is a recipient of a $2,000 WGU Indiana Alumni Master’s Scholarship. Matthews first discovered his passion for teaching when he was a student himself. He observed an enthusiasm for education in his own high school teachers that inspired him to complete his B.A. in Biological Science (5-12) through WGU Indiana. Matthews aspires to apply his master’s degree by integrating more technology into the classroom and continuing to improve his teaching through both independent study and engagement in learning communities. He hopes to develop into a well-rounded, organized educator and to continue growing his skillset.
