Western Governors University earns ABET Accreditation for B.S. in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance
Degree program also has a CAE-CD designation from the NSA.
SALT LAKE CITY, OCTOBER 6, 2025 — Western Governors University (WGU) announced today that its Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance received accreditation from the Computing Accreditation Commission of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET). ABET, a nonprofit, ISO 9001-certified quality assurance organization, supports excellence in education worldwide through the accreditation of academic programs, recognition of credentials and assessment of student learning.
