Dan Caudel joined Western Governors University in 2025 as Lead Academic Program Manager in the School of Business, where he oversees the Bachelor of Science in Communications and the Bachelor of Science in User Experience Design programs. In this role, he leads program strategy, curriculum design, and faculty engagement to ensure strong alignment between academic outcomes, student experience, and industry relevance.

Before joining WGU, Dan worked in technical communication, knowledge management, product education, and enablement leadership across several technology and software organizations. His work focused on content strategy, instructional design, and user experience, creating scalable systems that help people learn, find information, and perform effectively.
