Margaret Simonis serves as the vice president and dean for the School of Business at Western Governors University and has served in a variety of roles at WGU since 2008. Most of that time has been dedicated to leadership roles for the School of Business, and in her current role her responsibilities include leading new program launches and delivering high quality programs in the areas of Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain and Operations Management, IT Management and Healthcare Administration. Before joining WGU, Simonis held roles in wellness and health education and in student services leadership. These experiences, combined with her time at WGU leading program and instructional faculty and as a program mentor, have given her a diverse perspective that fosters a holistic leadership approach.
