Michele R. Souder, CPA serves as a Western Governors University’s Associate Dean in the School of Business, where she oversees both the undergraduate and graduate accounting programs. 

Prior to joining WGU, Michele held executive accounting and finance positions in industry, public accounting, and in non-profit organizations of various types and sizes.  She has served as the Chief Financial Officer of both closely held and publicly traded companies, the Senior Partner of Investment Management in a private equity firm, and an Audit and Advisory Services Partner in a national CPA firm.
