Springdale, AR – Western Governors University (WGU) today announced a new partnership with Harps Food Stores, Inc. to provide access to high-quality educational opportunities that support the educational goals of its employees.
Harps Food Stores, Inc. with headquarters in Springdale, Arkansas, is an employee-owned supermarket store, with 5,500 employees and stores in four states, including Arkansas, Oklahoma, Missouri, and Kansas. Harps is the largest employee-owned company headquartered in Arkansas.

In addition to Harps Food Stores’ support of employee learning management opportunities, the partnership offers value-added benefits, such as exclusive scholarships, competency-based education, and affordable flat-rate tuition of approximately $7,000 per year for most programs.

- Employees can apply for free, waiving the $65 application fee.
- Employees are eligible for special scholarships, including the WGU Collaborative Agreement Scholarship, valued at $2,500.
