Announcement of Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) Site Visit

SALT LAKE CITY (August 4, 2023) — The Leavitt School of Health at Western Governors University will host a site visit from the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) on October 2-3, 2023. The visit is for reaccreditation of our undergraduate (Prelicensure and RN to BSN) and graduate (masters degrees in Nursing Education, Leadership and Management, Informatics, Family Nurse Practitioner, and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner) programs, and accreditation of our Post-Masters Certificate (Family Nurse Practitioner, Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner) programs. CCNE provides an opportunity for colleagues, constituents, and the community of interest to submit written input into the deliberations of the visiting evaluation team.

Third-party comments received by CCNE are confidential and are only shared with the evaluation team. Third-party comments must be submitted by September 11, 2023, for consideration.
